5    AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $3,165,500 FROM THE
6    GENERAL FUND IN FISCAL YEAR 1997-98 FOR IMPROVEMENTS AND RELATED
7    EXPENSES AT ANTELOPE ISLAND STATE PARK; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
8    DATE.
9    This act enacts uncodified material.
10    Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11        Section 1. Appropriation.
12        (1) There is appropriated $3,165,500 to the Division of Parks and Recreation from the
13    General Fund in fiscal year 1997-98 for improvements and related expenses at Antelope Island
14    State Park as follows:
15        (a) construction of a road to the Fielding-Garr ranch house, including parking areas and
16    turnouts along the road;
17        (b) construction of roads to the oil well and Frary Homestead and grave site;
18        (c) personnel and operating expenses associated with opening the Field-Garr ranch and
19    south end of Antelope Island; and
20        (d) interpretative facilities at the ranch.
21        (2) The money appropriated in Subsection (1) is nonlapsing.
22        Section 2. Effective date.
23        This act takes effect on July 1, 1997.
