Mr. Speaker:

    The Political Subdivisions Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 88, RECORDING OF DOCUMENTS, by Representative T. Hatch, with the following amendments:

    Page 5, Line 24:    After line 24 insert:
        "(d) Notwithstanding the provisions of Subsection (2)(a), a recorded document which is submitted to a county recorder's office for rerecording may be accepted for rerecording without reexecution by the parties if, in the discretion of the county recorder, the changes made to the original recorded document are made only for the purpose of correcting typographical or clerical errors in the original recorded document."
