    The Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 163, PUBLIC ACCESS TO ACCIDENT REPORTS, by Representative D. Hogue, with the following amendments:

1.     Page 2, Line 19:    After "state" insert ", local,"    
2.    Page 2, Line 31:    Delete "and" and insert:
         "(iv) a member of the press or broadcast news media;
        (v) a state, local, or federal agency that uses the records for official governmental, investigative, or accident prevention purposes; and"

3.    Page 3, Line 1:    Delete "(iv)" and insert "(vi)"

4.     Page 9, Line 16:    After "state" insert ", local,"

5.    Page 9, Line 27:    After line 27 insert:
         "(iv) a member of the press or broadcast news media;
        (v) a state, local, or federal agency that uses the records for official governmental, investigative, or accident prevention purposes; and"

6.    Page 9, Line 28:    Delete "(iv)" and insert "(vi)"
