    The Human Services Committee reports a favorable recommendation on 2nd Sub. H.B. 239, CHILD WELFARE AMENDMENTS, by Representative J. Haymond, with the following amendments:
1.    Page 19, Line 26:    After "cause;" insert "or"

2.    Page 19, Line 27:    Delete ";or" and insert "."

3.    Page 19, Lines 28-29:    Delete lines 28 and 29

4.    Page 20, Line 5:    Delete "voluntary"

5.    Page 20, Line 7:    Delete "voluntary"

6.    Page 23, Line 27b:    Delete "FIVE" and insert "30"

7.    Page 41, Line 4:    Delete "At least five days prior" and insert "Prior"

8.    Page 41, Line 6:    After "division with" insert "adequate" and after "notice" delete the remainder of line 6 and insert "for the division to attend the hearing."

9.    Page 59, Line 6:    After "78-3a-311" insert ", except that the court may extend reunification services for no more than 90 days if it finds that there has been substantial compliance with the treatment plan, that reunification is probable within that 90 day period, and that the

extension is in the best interest of the child. In no event may any reunification services extend beyond 15 months from the date the child was initially removed from his home."
