    The Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 272, INMATE PRODUCTIVITY AND WORK SKILLS, by Representative G. Adair, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line18    After "inmates," delete " except those precluded"
        
2.    Page 1, Line 19    delete: "by the terms of the judgment and sentence under which they are confined,"

3.    Page 1, Line 21    After "appropriate" and before ";" insert:

        ", except for inmates who the department determines are physically or mentally disabled, or pose a danger to the public, so that they are unable to engage in these activities"
