Mr. Speaker:

    The Business, Labor, and Economic Development Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 279, AMENDMENTS TO OLENE WALKER HOUSING TRUST FUND, by Representative G. Adair, with the following amendments:
1.    Page 3, Line 9:    Delete "or for the purposes outlined in Subsection 9-4-705(1)(d)"

2.    Page 3, Line 9:    After Line 9 insert:
        "(ii) No more than 2.5% of the fund moneys may be used for the purposes set forth in Subsection 9-4-705(1)(d). However, if there are monies in the fund which have been appropriated to the fund by the Legislature and specifically earmarked for the purposes set forth in Subsection 9-4-705(1)(d), all such monies may be distributed for the purposes set forth in Subsection 9-4-705(1)(d)."

3.    Page 3, Line 10:    Bracket "(ii)" and insert "(iii)"
