Mr. Speaker:

    The Business, Labor, and Economic Development Committee recommends H.B. 335, PURCHASE OR LEASE OF BUILDINGS BY STATE BOARD OF REGENTS, by Representative G. Adair, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 335, PURCHASE OR LEASE OF BUILDINGS BY STATE BOARD OF REGENTS with the following amendments:
1.    Page 1, Line 16:    After "donation," insert "or" and after "exchange" delete ", or long-term lease"

2.     Page 1, Line17:    After "lease" insert "-purchase agreement." and delete the rest of the line.

3.     Page 1, Line 18:    After "(b)" insert "(i)"

4.     Page 1, Line 19:    After line 19, insert:
        "(ii) "Facilities" does not mean real property contiguous to a recognized higher education institution campus."
