Mr. Speaker:

    The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 364, HIGHER EDUCATION PHYSICAL FACILITIES, by Representative K. Johnson, with the following amendments and recommends it be placed on the Consent Calendar.

1.    Page 1, Line 10:    After "FUNDING" insert "; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE"

2.    Page 1, Line 20:    After line 20 insert:
        "Section 2. Effective date.
        If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this act takes effect upon approval by the governor, or the day following the constitutional time limit of Utah Constitution Article VII, Section 8, without the governor's signature, or in the case of a veto, the date of veto override."
