Mr. Speaker:

    The Business, Labor, and Economic Development Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 427, DEPOSITORY INSTITUTIONS INSURANCE POWERS, by Representative J. Valentine, with the following amendments:
1.    Page 1, Line 7:    After "ACTIVITIES" insert "; AND PROVIDING A COORDINATION CLAUSE"

2.    Page 1, Line 20:    After "defined in" delete "Section 31A-23-102" and insert "Section 31A-26-102"

3.    Page 1, Line 22:    After line 22 insert:
        "Section 2. Coordination clause.
        If this bill and 4th Substitute S.B. 76, Insurance Law Changes, both pass, it is the intent of the Legislature that Subsection 7-1-901(1)(b) be amended so that the reference to Section 31A-23-102 be changed to Section 31A-1-301."
