Mr. President:

    The Health and Environment Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.C.R. 11, RESOLUTION APPROVING INDUSTRIAL WASTE PERMIT, by Representative B. Evans, with the following amendments:
1.    Page 2, Line 2:    After "Quality," delete "but" and insert "and"

        After "likely" delete "extend beyond the final day" and insert "result in approval by the Department of Environmental Quality before the end"

2.    Page 2, Line 3:    Delete "1997" and insert "1998"

3.    Page 2, Line 6:    Delete ", and shall be considered as subsequent"

4.    Page 2, Line 7:    Delete "to" at the beginning of the line

5.    Page 2, Line 8:    Delete ", and" at the end of the line

6.    Page 2, Line 9:    Delete entire line
    
7.    Page 2, Line 10:    Delete "jurisdiction over the site" but do not delete "."
