Mr. President:

    The Energy, Natural Resources, and Agriculture Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 37, OPEN SPACE NEAR STATE PRISON, by Senator R. Evans, with the following amendments:
        
1.     Page 1, Line 16:    After "parcel of" delete "approximately 350-400"

2.     Page 1, Line 17:    At the beginning of line 17 delete "acres of"

3.     Page 1, Line 22:    After "land" insert "and other present conditions"

4.     Page 2, Line 7:    After "local governments," insert "the state archeologist, the Division of Indian Affairs,"

5.    Page 2, Line 8:    After "parties," delete "determine" and insert "recommend to the Legislature and the governor"
