Mr. President:

    The Human Services Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.R. 01, RESOLUTION URGING PARENTAL OVERSIGHT OF CHILDREN WATCHING MOVIES, by Senator S. Howell, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, line14:    After "submitted to the" delete "MPAA Rating Board" and insert: "Classification and Rating Administration (CARA) of the MPAA"

2.    Page1, line 16:    After "WHEREAS" delete "the board" and insert: "CARA"

3.    Page 1, line 18:    After "WHEREAS the" delete " "R" and "NC-17" "

4.    Page 1, line 21:    After "restrictions, which" delete the remainder of line 21, lines 22-23, and insert:
        "include requiring parental accompaniment or denying admission at all times for persons under 17"

5.    Page 1, line 26:    After "routinely attend" delete " "R" rated" and insert:
        "age-restricted"
