Representative Iverson proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 7:    After "FUND" insert "BEGINNING WITH THE FISCAL YEAR THAT ENDS JUNE 30, 2000"

2.    Page 1, Line 24:    Remove the brackets and reinstate "Uniform" and delete "State"

3.    Page 1, Line 26:    After "to the" remove the brackets and reinstate "Uniform" and delete "State"

4.    Page 2, Line 6:    After line 6 insert:
        "(4) (a) Beginning with the fiscal year that ends June 30, 2,000, $2,000,000 of the excess referred to in Subsection (2) (c) shall be transferred to the State School Fund and the balance of the excess shall be transferred to the Uniform School Fund.
        (b) Beginning with the fiscal year that ends June 30, 2001, and for each year thereafter, the entire amount of the excess shall be transferred to the State School Fund, less the unclaimed restitution for crime victims and deductions under Subsection (3)."
