Representative Wright proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 2, Line 23:    After "neglect" insert "for which a notice has been sent under Section 62A-4a-116.5 by July 1, 1998, and"

2.    Page 2, Line 24:    Delete "July" and insert "December"

3.    Page 5, Line 12:    After "(4)" insert "(a)"

         Renumber remaining subsections accordingly.

4.    Page 5, Line 15:    After line 15 insert:

        "(b) The administrative hearing officer may make a determination of substantiation based solely on the statement of the child."

5.    Page 5, Line 27:    Delete "1988" and insert "1998"
