    The Judiciary Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 197, AMEND MECHANICS LIEN LAW, by Senator S. Howell, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 5, Line 140:    Delete "claims" and insert "amounts claimed for qualified services"

2.    Page 5, Line 140:    After "12%" insert ", annual percentage rate,"

3.    Page 8, Line 229:    Delete "original contractor, subcontractor, or real estate developer" and insert "nonpaying party"

4.    Page 9, Lines 256-257:    Delete "original contractor, subcontractor, or real estate developer" and insert "party"
