         AMENDMENTS - CHILD ABUSE DATABASE

House Floor Amendments

Representative Throckmorton proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 5:    Delete "AND" and insert a comma

2.    Page 1, Line 6:    After "UNSUBSTANTIATED" insert ", SUBSTANTIATED"

3.    Page 1, Line 7:    Delete "DATABASE" and insert "AND LICENSING DATABASES"

4.    Page 4, Line 89:    After the semicolon delete "or"

5.    Page 4, Line 91:    Delete "ten" and insert "five" and after "years" insert:
        "; or
        (iii) a report that is substantiated if no subsequent report involving the same alleged perpetrator has occurred within 25 years and the alleged perpetrator has requested the department, in writing, to remove the report, provided that a report that was the subject of a criminal conviction may not, under any circumstances, be removed"

6.    Page 4, Line 99:    After "Section 62A-4a-116.5" insert ", which after 25 years, shall be removed or retained in accordance with the standard established for substantiated reports in Subsection (2)(d)(iii)"
