Senate Floor Amendments

Senator Montgomery proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 3, Line 71:    After "system" insert ", where neither the parent nor any member of the parent's household is employed by the public education system"

2.    Page 3, Line 78:    After "notified" insert "in person, by telephone, or by mail"

3.    Page 3, Line 80:    After line 80 insert:
        "(6) (a) If a survey is conducted in whole or in part under the presumed parental consent provision in Subsection (5) (c), it must be conducted by a commercial polling business.
        (b) The polling business must certify that:
        (i) all responses shall be used only for statistical purposes;
        (ii) no information identified or identifiable with specific individuals shall be divulged to any governmental or private entity; and
        (iii) all information identified or identifiable with specific individuals shall be destroyed within five working days of its collection."

4.    Page 3, Line 81:    Delete "(6)" and insert "(7)"

5.    Page 3, Line 84:    Delete "(7)" and insert "(8)"

6.     Page 4, Line 91:    After "Subsection" delete "(7)" and insert "(8)"
