Mr. Speaker:

    The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 25, APPROPRIATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL LITERACY, by Representative D. Iverson, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 6:    After "PROVIDING A" delete "$99,000" and insert "$98,000"

2.    Page 1, Line 10:     After "IMPLEMENTATION OF" delete "CURRICULUM" and insert "PROGRAMS" and after "THAT" delete "FOCUSES" and insert "FOCUS"

3.    Page 1, line 16:    After "2000-01" delete "only, $99,000" and insert "$98,000"

4.    Page 1, Line 24:    After "implement" delete "curriculum which focuses" and insert "teaching strategies that focus"

5.    Page 2, Line 28:    After "(d)" delete "pilot a" and insert "offer three" and after "summer" delete "camp" and insert "camps"
