Mr. Speaker:

    The Business, Labor, and Economic Development Committee recommends H.B. 45, TELEPHONE SOLICITATION REGULATION, by Representative E. Olsen, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 2nd Sub. H.B. 45, TELEPHONE SOLICITATION REGULATION with the following amendments:

1.    Page 2, Line 46:    After "shall" insert ": (a)"

2.     Page 2, Line 47:    After "state" insert "; and (b) provide the Utah do not call list to the national registry"

3.    Page 3, Line 67:    Delete "or"

4.    Page 3, Line 69:    Delete "." and insert "; or"

5.    Page 3, Line 69:    After line 69 insert:
        "(d) any organization domiciled in this state that is exempt from registration under Section 13-26-4."
