Mr. Speaker:

    The Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee reports a favorable recommendation on 2nd Sub. H.B. 176, WEAPONS RESTRICTIONS FOR MENTALLY ILL PERSONS, by Representative G. Cox, et al, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 2, Line 52:    Delete "53-10-208.1(3)" and insert "53-10-208.1(4)"

2.    Page 3, Line 78:    Delete Line 78

3.    Page 3, Line 79:    At the beginning of line 79 delete "(j)" and insert "(i)" and after line 79 insert
        "(2) current orders of civil commitment under the terms of Section 62A-12-234;"

         Renumber remaining subsections accordingly
