Mr. President:

    The Transportation and Public Safety Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 137, SALVAGE VEHICLE BUYERS, by Senator J. Valentine, with the following amendments:
1.    Page 1, Line 22:    Delete "salvage vehicle or a branded title vehicle" and insert "vehicle with a salvage certificate as defined in Section 41-1a-1001"

2.    Page 1, Lines 24-25:    Delete "salvage vehicle or a branded title vehicle" and insert "vehicle with a salvage certificate as defined in Section 41-1a-1001"

3.    Page 4, Line 106:    Delete "salvage vehicle or a branded title vehicle" and insert "vehicle with a salvage certificate as defined in Section 41-1a-1001"

4.    Page 5, Line 149:    After "(3)" insert "(a)"

5.    Page 5, Line 150:    After line 150 insert:
                "(b) The administrator may retain a portion of the fee under Subsection (3)(a) to offset the administrator's actual costs of administering and enforcing salvage vehicle buyer licenses."
