CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES PRECURSOR AMENDMENTS

Representative Tyler proposes the following amendments:
1. Page 6, Line 161: Delete Lines 161 and 162 and insert:
"(b) to a person who is actively engaged in the legal practice of animal husbandry of livestock, as defined in Section 4-1-8."
2. Page 6, Line 168: After Line 168 insert:
"(4) A retailer offering iodine matrix for sale:
(a) shall store the iodine matrix so that the public does not have access to the iodine matrix without the direct assistance or intervention of a retail employee;
(b) shall keep a record of each person purchasing iodine matrix; and
(c) may, if necessary to ascertain the identity of the purchaser, ask for proof of identification from the purchaser."
3. Page 6, Line 169: Delete "(4)" and insert "(5)"
4. Page 6, Line 172: Delete "either"
Delete "a dairy permit or certificate" and insert "is not engaged in animal husbandry,"
