Representative Blake Chard proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 7:    Delete "AN"
        Delete "DATE" and insert "DATES"

2.    Page 7, Line 210:    After "section" delete "though" and insert "through"

3.    Page 23, Line 699:    Bracket "A" and insert "The division shall establish a "

4.    Page 23, Line 699:    After "(8)(a)" bracket "is"

5.    Page 23, Line 699:    After "[$10]"delete "$15" and insert "through the process under Section 63-38-3.2"
        Do not bracket the period

6.    Page 23, Line 700:    Bracket entire line.

7.    Page 23, Line 701:    Bracket entire line.

8.    Page 29, Line 879:    After Line 879 insert:

        "Section 24. Transition clause.
         (1) Notwithstanding the July 1, 2001 effective date, if under this act a board, division, department, or commission is authorized to set a fee under the provisions of Section 63-38-3.2, that board, division, department, or commission may, beginning May 1, 2000, adopt a proposed schedule of fees, and following the provisions of Section 63-38-3.2, submit those fees to the Legislature for its review in the 2001 Annual General Session, so those fees may become effective July 1, 2001.
         (2) The fees in effect prior to the amendments in this act remain in effect until July 1, 2001. "

9.    Page 29, line 880:    Delete "24." and insert "25."

10.    Page 29, Line 881:    Delete entire line.

11.    Page 29, Line 881:    After Line 881 insert:

        "(1) Except as provided in Section 24, Transition clause, this act takes effect July 1, 2001.
         (2) Section 24, Transition clause, takes effect May 1, 2000. "
