VOTING BY SECRET BALLOT FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

                  This act requires the Lieutenant Governor's Elections Office to study and report possible
                  methods for allowing persons with disabilities to vote a secret ballot.
                  This act enacts uncodified material.
                  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. Voting by persons with disabilities study.
                      (1) The Lieutenant Governor's State Elections Office, in consultation with county clerks,
                  shall study possible ways to allow persons with disabilities to vote by secret ballot in accordance
                  with Section 20A-3-102 .
                      (2) The State Elections Office shall report the findings of its study and make
                  recommendations to the Government Operations Interim Committee by October 1, 2001.
