APPROPRIATION FOR NATIONAL GUARD EDUCATION

                  This act appropriates $50,000 to the National Guard to fund the tuition assistance program.
                  This act takes effect July 1, 2001.
                  This act enacts uncodified material.
                  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. Appropriation.
                      There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 2001-02 only, $50,000 to the
                  National Guard to be used for the postsecondary education tuition assistance program described
                  in Section 39-1-63 .
                      Section 2. Effective date.
                      This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
