APPROPRIATION TO MUSEUM IN OGDEN'S
2 DINOSAUR PARK
3 2001 GENERAL SESSION

6 This act appropriates $200,000, for fiscal year 2001-02 only, to the Department of
7 Community and Economic Development for use in the construction of a museum in Ogden's
8 Dinosaur Park. The act makes the appropriation nonlapsing and provides an effective date.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 (1) For fiscal year 2001-02 only, there is appropriated $200,000 to the Department of
13 Community and Economic Development for disbursement to the Office of Museum Services,
14 created under Section 9-4-1002 , for use in the construction of a museum in Dinosaur Park located
15 in Ogden City, to help fulfill the statewide public purpose of providing cultural, historical, and
16 educational facilities for the people of the state and visitors to the state.
17 (2) This appropriation is nonlapsing.
18 Section 2. Effective date.
19 This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
