APPROPRIATION TO MEMORY GROVE FOUNDATION
2001 GENERAL SESSION

This act appropriates $50,000 from the General Fund to the Department of Community and
Economic Development for Memory Grove projects. This act takes effect July 1, 2001.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Appropriation.
(1) Because Memory Grove is a valuable contributor to the cultural and historic
enrichment of the people of Utah, there is appropriated for fiscal year 2001-02 only, $50,000 from
the General Fund to the Department of Community and Economic Development.
(2) It is the intent of the Legislature that the Department of Community and Economic
Development distribute the $50,000 to the Memory Grove Foundation for restoration and
construction projects.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
