Mr. Speaker:

    The Workforce Services Committee recommends H.B. 51, WORKFORCE SERVICES AMENDMENTS, by Representative R. Siddoway, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 51, WORKFORCE SERVICES AMENDMENTS with the following amendments:

1.    Page 4, Lines 88-89:    Reinstate "(6)" and after "[recommend to the Legislature
    legislation]" insert "research child care programs and
    public policy that will improve quality and" and reinstate     the remainder of line 88 and line 89

2. Page 4, Line 90:    Delete "(6)" and reinstate "(7)"     
3. Page 4, Line 93:    Delete "(7)" and insert "(8)"
