Mr. President:

    The Business, Labor, and Economic Development Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 233, PROPERTY AND CASUALTY GUARANTY ASSOCIATION ACT, by Representative G. Adair, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 17:    After line 17, insert " The act provides a coordination clause."

2.    Page 18, Line 550:    After line 550, insert
        "Section 15. Coordination clause.
        If this bill and S.B. 100, Insurance Law Amendments, both pass, it is the intent of the Legislature that in preparing the Utah Code database for publication, the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel shall consider that the amendments in Section 31A-28-202 in this bill supersede the amendments to Section 31A-28-202 in S.B. 100."
