Mr. Speaker:

    The Judiciary Committee recommends H.B. 247, REQUIREMENTS FOR FILING JUDGEMENTS, by Representative M. Dayton, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 247, FILING WRONGFUL LIENS OR JUDGEMENTS with the following amendments:

1.     Page 1, Line 22:    After "[$1,000]" delete "$5,000" and reinstate "$1,000"

2.     Page 1, Line 24:    After "[$3,000] delete "$10,000" and reinstate "$3,000"

3.     Page 3, Line 67:    After "(4)" insert ", except as to parties with actual or constructive knowledge of the judgment"
