Mr. President:
The Judiciary Committee recommends S.B. 127, BAIL BOND AMENDMENTS, by Senator T. Spencer, be replaced and favorably recommends 1st Sub. S.B. 127, BAIL BOND AMENDMENTS with the following amendments:
1. Page 2, Line 30: After line 30 insert "(d) A prosecutor shall not proceed under subsection 2(b) if a company provides notice of a motion to set aside judgement or notice of an application for an extraordinary writ prior to the end of the payment period."
2. Page 5, Line 120: After "(iii) after an arrest" delete "by the surety, or an arrest in which the surety substantially assisted"
