    The Transportation and Public Safety Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 256, TRANSPORTATION AMENDMENTS, by Senator P. Knudson, with the following amendments:
1.    Page 1, Line 6:    Delete " transit" and insert " transportation"

2.    Page 1, Line 19:    Delete "transit" and insert "transportation"

3.    Page 1, Line 21:    After "improvement," bracket "and" and after "maintenance" bracket "of the" and insert ", and mitigation from the effects of these activities on"

4.    Page 1, Line 22:    Bracket "highways, roads, and streets" and insert "transportation facilities"

5.    Page 2, Line 37:    bracket "and"

6.    Page 2, Line 39:    After "highway" insert "; and (12) the mitigation of impacts from public transportation projects"
