MOTION: Rep. Hansen moved to approve the minutes of the January 22, 2002 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Adair, Rep. Bradshaw, Rep. D. Clark, Rep. S. Clark, Rep. Curtis, Rep. Duckworth, Rep. Hatch, and Rep. King absent for the vote.
H.B. 191 Predatory Mortgage Lending (Paul Ray)

MOTION: Rep. Parker moved to delete in title and body H.B. 191 and replace it with 1st Sub. H.B. 191 Mortgage Lending Disclosures. The motion passed unanimously with Rep . Adair, Rep. Bradshaw, Rep. D. Clark, Rep. S. Clark, Rep. Curtis, Rep. Duckworth, Rep. Hatch, and Rep. King absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Adair moved to amend the substitute bill as follows:

MOTION: Rep. Morgan moved to amend the substitute bill as follows:
1. Page 3, Line 64: After line 64 insert "(4) An insurer that uses erroneous information shall be liable for civil damages."
2. Page 3, Line 65: Delete "(4)" and insert "(5)"

MOTION: Rep. Bryson moved to pass the substitute bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. S. Clark, Rep. Duckworth, and Rep. Morgan voting in opposition. Rep. Curtis and Rep. Hatch were absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Bradshaw moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Curtis and Rep. Hatch absent for the vote.
