MOTION:    Representative Bryson moved to go to the next item on the agenda. The motion passed 10-1-2, with Representative Tyler voting in opposition to the motion, and Representative Thompson absent for the vote.

    Senator Hickman introduced the bill and explained its intent.

MOTION:    Representative Arent moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 332    Child Support Modifications     (E. Hutchings)

    Representative Hutchings introduced the bill and explained its intent.

    Representative Way turned the chair to Representative Ferrin at 8:10 a.m.

MOTION:    Representative Tyler moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Bennion, Bigelow, and Thompson absent for the vote.

S.B. 117    Trust Amendments     (J. Valentine)

MOTION:    Representative Ferrin moved to delete S.B. 117 and replace it with 1st Substitute S. B. 117, Trust Amendments. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Bennion, Bigelow, and Thompson absent for the vote.

    Representative Ferrin introduced the bill for Senator Valentine, and explained its intent.

    Cindy Crass, Callister, Nebeker, and McCullough, spoke in favor of the bill.

MOTION:    Representative Bryson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Bennion, Bigelow, and Thompson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Representative Ferrin moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed 5- 4-4, with Representatives Bryson, Hendrickson, Hutchings, Ferrin, and Way voting in favor of the motion, Representatives Arent, Daniels, Ferry and Tyler voting in opposition to the motion, and Representatives Bennion, Bigelow, and Thompson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Representative Arent moved to approve the minutes of February 26, and 27 2002, The motion passed unanimously, with Representatives Bennion, Bigelow, and Thompson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Representative Ferrin moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Bennion, Bigelow and Thompson absent for the vote. The meeting adjourned at 9:08 a.m.
