Motion: Rep. Fife moved to approve the minutes. The motion passed unanimously with a vote of
6-0-5, with Reps. Cox, Fife, Hogue, Murray, Peterson and Shurtliff voting yes, with Reps. Allen, Becker, Clark, Ure and Young absent for the vote.
H.B. 241 County Health Departments - Operational Structure (K. Garn)
Motion: Rep. Cox moved to delete in title and body H.B. 241 and to replace it with 3rd Substitute H.B. 241. The motion passed unanimously with a vote of 6-0-5, with Reps. Cox, Fife, Hogue, Murray, Peterson and Shurtliff voting yes, with Reps. Allen, Becker, Clark, Ure and Young absent for the vote.

H.B. 284 Election Law Amendments - Disabled Voters (R. Siddoway)
Motion: Rep. Cox moved to adopt the following amendments:
1. Page 1, Line 10: Delete " three" and insert " six"
2. Page 1, Line 12: After " location" but before the period insert " or, if no practical solution can be identified, file with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor a written explanation identifying the reasons compliance cannot reasonably be met"
3. Page 5, Line 134: Delete "three" and insert "six"
4. Page 5, Line 136: Delete "or"
5. Page 5, Line 138: After "precinct" but before the period insert "; or
(C) if no practical solution can be identified, file with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor a written explanation identifying the reasons compliance cannot reasonably be met"

Motion: Rep. Peterson moved that the committee report a favorable recommendation on 1st Substitute H.B. 309. The motion failed with a vote of 3-4-4, with Reps. Clark, Cox and Peterson voting yes, Reps. Fife, Hogue, Murray and Shurtliff voting no, with Reps. Allen, Becker, Ure, and Young absent for the vote.
H.B. 324 Protection of Unincorporated Areas in Counties of the First Class (A. L. Tyler)
Motion: Rep. Murray moved to delete in title and body H.B. 324 and to replace it with 2nd Substitute H.B. 324. The motion passed unanimously with a vote of 7-0-4, with Reps.
