HOUSE RULES RESOLUTION - SCHEDULING
GUEST SPEAKERS
2003 GENERAL SESSION

This resolution modifies House Rules by eliminating the Rules Committee's authority to
schedule guest speakers. This resolution takes effect immediately.
This resolution affects legislative rules as follows:
REPEALS:
HR-24.33
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Repealer.
This act repeals:
Rule HR-24.33, Scheduling Guest Speakers.
Section 2. Effective date.
This resolution takes effect upon approval by a constitutional majority vote of all
members of the House of Representatives.
