RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING GENERAL
COUNSEL
2003 GENERAL SESSION
STATE OF UTAH

A joint resolution of the Legislature approving the reappointment of M. Gay Taylor as
General Counsel for the Legislature.
Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
WHEREAS, as provided in Utah Code Annotated Subsection 36-12-7 (3), the
Legislative Management Committee has recommended the reappointment of M. Gay Taylor as
General Counsel for the Legislature; and
WHEREAS, the reappointment of M. Gay Taylor as General Counsel for the
Legislature is for a term of office of six years commencing June 27, 2003, is subject by statute
to further approval of a majority vote of both the Senate and the House of Representatives:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of the state of Utah that
M. Gay Taylor's reappointment as General Counsel for the Legislature is approved for a
six-year term of office commencing June 27, 2003.
