RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING GENERAL
2 COUNSEL
3 2003 GENERAL SESSION
4 STATE OF UTAH

6 A joint resolution of the Legislature approving the reappointment of M. Gay Taylor as
7 General Counsel for the Legislature.
8 Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
9 WHEREAS, as provided in Utah Code Annotated Subsection 36-12-7 (3), the
10 Legislative Management Committee has recommended the reappointment of M. Gay Taylor as
11 General Counsel for the Legislature; and
12 WHEREAS, the reappointment of M. Gay Taylor as General Counsel for the
13 Legislature is for a term of office of six years commencing June 27, 2003, is subject by statute
14 to further approval of a majority vote of both the Senate and the House of Representatives:
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of the state of Utah that
16 M. Gay Taylor's reappointment as General Counsel for the Legislature is approved for a
17 six-year term of office commencing June 27, 2003.
