    Representative Ferry called the meeting to order at 8:10 a.m. and called for a motion to approve the minutes of February 14, and February 18, 2003.

MOTION:    Representative Adams moved to approve the minutes of February 14, and February 18, 2003. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Curtis, Hendrickson, and Philpot absent for the vote.

H.B. 307    Child Bigamy Amendment         (M. S. Lawrence)

MOTION:    Representative Lawrence moved to substitute H. B. 307 with 1st Substitute H. B. 307. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Curtis, Hendrickson, and Philpot absent for the vote.

    The sponsor introduced the substitute bill to the committee. The sponsor was assisted in the introduction of the bill by Mark Shurtleff, Attorney General, and LouAnn Kingston, representing herself.

MOTION:    Representative Thompson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed 9-1-3, with Representative Daniels voting against the motion, and Representatives Bennion, Curtis, and Philpot absent for the vote.

    The sponsor introduced the bill and explained its intent.

MOTION:    Representative Bryson moved to amend:

2.     Page 1, line 21:    After “judgements in” delete “a court” and insert “all courts

    The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Curtis, Philpot, and Thompson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Representative Bennion moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended. The motion passed 9-1-3, with Representative McGee voting against the motion, and Representatives Curtis, Philpot, and Thompson absent for the vote.

1st Substitute S.B. 29        Legislative Access to Certain Information     (M. Dmitrich)

    The sponsor introduced the bill with Wayne Welsh, Legislative Auditor General.

    Representative Bryson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed 8-2-3, with Representatives Daniels and Ferry voting against the motion, and Representatives Lawrence, Philpot, and Thompson absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Representative Bryson moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Lawrence, Philpot and Thompson absent for the vote. The meeting adjourned at 9:30 a.m.
