Chair Bowman called the meeting to order at 8:08 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Parker moved to approve the minutes of the February 18, 2003 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Christensen and Rep. Litvak absent for the vote.

2nd Sub. S.B. 58    Youth Corrections - Division Name Amendment (P. Hellewell)

Explained the bill:    Sen. Hellewell

MOTION:    Rep. Jones moved to pass the substitute bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Christensen and Rep. Litvak absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Aagard moved that the bill be placed on the consent calendar. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Christensen and Rep. Litvak absent for the vote.

S.B. 53    Amendments to Controlled Substance Act (P. Knudson)

MOTION:    Rep. Parker moved to delete in title and body S.B. 53 and replace it with 1st Sub. S.B. 53. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Litvak absent for the vote.
