Chair Holdaway called the meeting to order at 4:43 p.m.
Motion: Rep. Murray moved to adopt the minutes of February 19, 2003. The motion passed with a vote of 6-0-4, with Reps. Becker, Bourdeaux, Duckworth and Hogue absent for the vote.
1st Sub. S.B. 87 Library Amendments (M. Waddoups)
Rep. Dee introduced the bill.

H.B. 296 Municipal Annexation Amendments (M. S. Lawrence)
Motion: Rep. Murray moved to adopt the following amendments:
1. Page 1, Line 6: After " annexations." delete the remainder of line 6
2. Page 1, Line 7-8: Delete lines 7 and 8
3. Page 2, Lines 39-42: Delete lines 39 through 42
The motion to amend H.B. 296 passed with a vote of 8-0-2, with Reps. Bourdeaux and Hogue absent for the vote.
