Vice Chair Wallace called the meeting to order at 4:48 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Morgan moved to approve the minutes of the February 14, 2003 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Hughes absent for the vote.

H.B. 319    Family Employment Program Work Incentives (D. Litvack)

Rep. Shrutliff moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 1, Line 7:    After " Program." insert " The act has an October 1, 2003 effective date."

2.    Page 2, Line 47:    After line 47 insert:
        " Section 2. Effective Date.
        This act takes effect October 1, 2003."

        The motion to amend passed unanimously, with Rep. Hughes absent for the vote.

Rep. Litvack explained the bill.

MOTION:        Rep. Shurtliff moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:        Rep. Mascaro moved to adjourn the meeting.

Vice Chair Wallace adjourned the meeting at 5:20 p.m.
