Vice Chair Wallace called the meeting to order at 4:45 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Shurtliff moved to approve the minutes of the February 24, 2003 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Hughes and Rep. Morgan absent for the vote.
H.B. 316 Aerospace and Aviation Development Zone (B. Dee)
Rep. Dee explained the bill.
MOTION: Rep. Love moved to amend the bill as follows:
1. Page 2, Line 36: Delete “municipal”
2. Page 3, Line 60: After “any” delete “municipal”
3. Page 4, Line 110: After “Finance” delete “may” and insert “shall”
4. Page 5, Line 128: Delete “payroll” and insert “quarterly payment”
5. Page 5, Line 131: After “development zone and” delete “tax credits and”
The motion to amend passed unanimously, with Rep. Hughes, Rep. Goodfellow, and Rep. Morgan absent for the vote.
