Committee Chair Wright called the meeting to order at 8:14 a.m.
1. SB. 105 Pledge of Allegiance in Public Schools (D.C. Buttars)
Sen. Buttars said the bill provides for the recitation of the pledge of allegiance in public secondary schools. Mr. Kelly Atkinson, District Governor Nominee, Rotary International, assisted in the presentation.

MOTION: Sen. Buttars moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Gladwell absent for the vote.
2. S.B. 51 Planetarium Amendments (G. Davis)
Sen. Davis said the bill provides for the appointment of county planetarium personnel.
MOTION: Sen. Arent moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Buttars and Sen. Gladwell absent for the vote.
MOTION: Sen. Hale moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Buttars and Sen. Gladwell absent for the vote.
Committee Chair Wright adjourned the meeting at 9:15 a.m.
