    Chair Walker called the meeting to order at 2:25 p.m.

    MOTION: Sen. Hale moved to approve the minutes of January 21, 2003.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Eastman, Hickman and Knudson absent for the vote.

1.     S. B. 79 Disabled Parking Fine
(D. C. Buttars)

    Sen. Buttars explained the bill.

    Corey Rowley, Legislative Coalition for People with Disabilities; Jan Ferre, Technical Assistant, LCPD; Allie Snyder, intern for Sen. Hale, and disabled student; Barbara Toomer, Disabled Rights Action Committee; Doris King, disabled citizen, and Jerry Orme, Red Rock Center for Independent Living, spoke for the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Arent moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation.

     The motion passed unanimously.

2.     S. B. 20 Facilitation of e-Government (D. Steele)
    
    Sen. Steele explained the bill and distributed the following amendments:

    1.    Page 2, Line 52:    Delete "7, 10," and insert "10"
    2.    Page 2, Line 53:    After "documents" insert ", as defined by the Judicial Council"
    3.    Page 2, Line 57:    After line 57 insert "or"
    4.    Page 2, Line 58:    Delete "or"


    5.    Page 3, Line 59:    Delete "(iii)" and insert "(f) a renewal of a registration of"
    6.    Page 3, Line 60:    Delete "(f)" and insert "(g)"
    7.    Page 3, Line 86:    Bracket "through (3)" and insert "and (2)"

     MOTION: Sen. Hickman moved to adopt the amendments.

     MOTION: Sen. Hale moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation.

     The motion passed unanimously.


3.     S. B. 14 Governor's Office of Planning and Budget Recodification and Revisions
    (R. Allen)

    Sen. Allen explained the bill.

    Sen. Hickman moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation.

     The motion passed unanimously.

     MOTION: Sen. Evans moved to adjourn.

     The motion passed unanimously.
