The meeting was called to order by Chair Evans at 4:22 p.m.
1. S.B. 142 Agricultural Cooperatives Amendments (L. Blackham)
Sen. Blackham presented the bill. Steven Johnson, Director of Legal and Administrative Services, Norbest, spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to pass S.B. 142 Agricultural Cooperatives Amendments (L. Blackham) out with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to approve the minutes of 2-07-03.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. H.B. 91 Enforcement Procedure Amendments of Water Well Drillers (D. Peterson)
Rep. Darin E. Peterson presented the bill. Jerry Olds, State Engineer, Division of Water Rights, spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to pass .H.B. 91 Enforcement Procedure Amendments of Water Well Drillers (D. Peterson) out with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed with Sen. Evans, Sen. Davis, and Sen. Wright voting in favor and Sen. Jenking voting in opposition with Sen. Blackham absent at the time of the vote.
3. H.J.R. 12 Resolution Providing Management of Wolves in Utah (M. Styler)
Rep. Michael Styler presented the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Wright moved to pass H.J.R. 12 Resolution Providing Management of Wolves in Utah (M. Styler) out with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Blackham absent at the time of the vote.
MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to adjourn the meeting.
