Committee Chair Steele called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. Hickman moved to approve the minutes of January 30, 2003.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. S.B. 52 Access to Uninsured Motorist Information (D. Steele)
Committee Chair Steele announced that S.B. 52 will be discussed at a future meeting.
2. H.B. 68 Safety Inspection Requirement for Salvage Vehicles (G. Curtis)
Pam Hendrickson, Committee Chair, Tax Commission, explained the bill.
David Rumsfeld, Highway Patrol, spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Knudson moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
3. H.B. 164 James V. Hansen Highway Designation (D. Aagard)
Rep. Aagard explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen.Knudson moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
4. H.B. 197 License Plate for Boys and Girls Clubs (Chad Bennion)
Sen. Walker explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Eastman moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
