Chair Thomas called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to approve the minutes of January 21, 2003.
The motion passed unanimously, with Sens. Julander and Valentine absent for the vote.
1. SB 12 - Industrial Assistance Fund Amendments (B. Evans)
The bill was explained by Sen. Thomas and Amendment 1 to SB 12 was distributed.
MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to accept the amendment to the bill.
Motion withdrawn.
Director Mark Renda, Industrial Assistance Fund, spoke in favor of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to accept the amendment to the bill.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Julander moved to pass SB 12, as amended, out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
Sen. Valentine thanked Sen. Evans for being responsive to the concerns of the committee members.
MOTION: Sen. Steele moved to adjourn the meeting.
The motion passed unanimously.
Chair Thomas adjourned the meeting at 9:17 a.m.
