LONG TITLE
General Description:
This bill amends fishing licensing provisions to allow for licenses that are issued for 365
days from the date of sale.
Highlighted Provisions:
This bill:
. amends fishing licensing provisions to allow for licenses to be issued for 365 days
from the date of sale; and
. allows persons under 14 years of age to fish without a license pursuant to rules,
proclamations, and orders set forth by the Wildlife Board.

This bill takes effect on December 1, 2005.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Section 23-19-7 is amended to read:
23-19-7. Licenses issuance -- Expiration date.
The licenses [

Section 2. Section 23-19-21 is amended to read:
23-19-21. Fishing license -- Limited number of days.
(1) A person 14 years of age or older shall purchase a fishing license before engaging in
any regulated fishing activity.

Board, may receive a license to fish:
(a) for one day; [
(b) for seven consecutive days[
(c) for 365 consecutive days from the date of sale.
(3) A person under 14 years of age may fish without a license pursuant to rules,
proclamations, and orders set forth by the Wildlife Board.

Section 3. Repealer.
This bill repeals:
Section 23-19-18, Fishing license -- Season.
Section 4. Effective date.
This bill takes effect on December 1, 2005.
