LONG TITLE
General Description:
This bill amends a Senate rule on fiscal notes.
Highlighted Provisions:
This resolution:
. provides that when a bill is placed on the second reading calendar without a fiscal
note that the bill will be circled until the fiscal note is received.
Special Clauses:
This resolution provides an immediate effective date.

Be it resolved by the Senate of the state of Utah:
Section 1. SR-25.02 is amended to read:
SR-25.02. Bills Placed on Calendar.
(1) All bills reported to the Senate by committees shall be placed at the bottom of the
second reading calendar in the order received.
(2) Each bill or substitute bill placed on the second reading calendar without a fiscal
note shall be circled until the fiscal note is received.
Section 2. Effective date.
This resolution takes effect upon approval by a constitutional majority vote of all
members of the Senate.
